February 15, 201016 yr ... lots of good stuff going on right now. Lakers are looknig to trade Vujacic for Hinrich. We all know the Cavs are after Amare. The Heat are intrested in Jamison. Some are saying Amare doesn't even want to play in Cleveland.

February 15, 201016 yr Lot of good rumors swirling out there, and I would like to see a lot of them happen. The most important thing has already happened, and that is getting that first big trade out of the way. Once a couple GMs/teams break the ice, then things normally start to fall like dominoes. Compared to some seasons when there's a lot of talk, but no one pulls the trigger. Obviously as a Lebron fan I am hoping for the Hickson/Amare trade. But, I think the Vujacic/Hinrich trade would make a lot of sense for the Bulls and Lake Show. D Rose is coming along quite nicely for the Bulls, I mean hes already Rookie of the Year, and an All-Star selection, and although Hinrich is a good asset, playing him out of position is not as ideal to getting that pure two guy who can also shoot it. On the other end, it would give the Lakers a shooter back, perhaps not as good as Sasha, but it also gives them a PG. D Fish cannot have that much left in the tank, and getting Hinrich would be a great pickup, especially when your only giving up Sasha Vujacic. Also there's still plenty of rumors of T Mac to the Knicks.

February 16, 201016 yr Aren't the Lakers really over the cap right now as it is? Why would they want to take on Hinrich's deal, I think he makes somewhere in the area of 17 million over the next two seasons or something like that.

The Cavs have reportedly been informed of that news and have gone in another direction. Amare has a house in Miami so yes that is his first option.

That way they will have the pieces in order to compete for a few more years, and then they will have his deal for an expiring contract in two years so they can add another piece. If you're far over the salary cap, you had better get players like that I think.
