Country Boy Nate's Coffee Stout. If you love coffee, I don't see how you won't enjoy this one. 9% coffee bomb, outstanding.

Got to have a few Mile Wide Tessie's this afternoon. I'm going to have to reevaluate what I consider to be a good IPA. It was phenomenal.

I support Mile Wide, have a mesh hat and T-shirt, would love to try Tessie.

Drinking a Prairie Artisan Ales - Christmas Bomb. It's a sneaky 13% ABV. Pretty good. Followed that up with a Breckenridge - Christmas Ale. After the bomb this one taste like water.

For Christmas my wife gave me a voucher she found on Cincy Savers that is good for a flight of beer and a pint glass from 10 different area breweries. It's valid for one year, so plenty of time to hit them all up. I can't remember all of them, but I know it includes Brink, Wooden Cask, Moerlein, Tap & Screw, West Side, Rivertown, Listerman's, Nine Giant, and a couple others.

Apparently the Newport Kroger does Crowlers for $6. Which is a steal. Sliding in there on the way home from work.

What is their distribution area? Strictly up there?

I love stouts, brown ales, and porters. Any new one I can find, I'm all over it.

Country Boy is relatively small. It is available in most parts of Kentucky, but I'm not sure how much it is available out of state. If your up this way you might also like their Shotgun Wedding. It is a brown ale brewed with bourbon-soaked vanilla beans.

I enjoy Shotgun Wedding quite a bit. We had a quarter barrel of it at my rehearsal dinner.

For anyone interested, they have Hopslam on tap and in cans. Crowler for $7.99.

Went to West Side Brewery for the first time yesterday. Pretty nice space. Did two flights and wasn't amazed by anything I had. The Double IPA was good though.

I highly recommend the Milkshake IPA at Braxton Labs. Had a few times now and grabbed two Crowlers of it last night.

I've loved every one of Mile Wide's offerings that I've tried...except their McPoyle Nitro Milk Stout. I had it for the first time on Saturday evening. Wayyyyyyy too sweet.
