I might swing by Rhingeist on Saturday after working the Reds game. 4th Anniversary party. They usually have some special releases. Been to the 2nd and 3rd.

My wife was the first person to pick up a six pack of Mad Tree's Entropic Theory. I'm glad this one will be on the shelves for a while.

Looking forward to trying it. My buddy is the KY Sales Rep for Madtree. Took us on a tour of the new facility about 2 weeks ago and they had thousands of cans ready to be filled.

I know to most Rhinegeist might be overhyped or they only make IPAs and Pale Ales, but this place sure is special to me. Proposed to my wife during a private tour for family and friends on the roof. Also had our wedding reception here.

Sitting here, sipping on a Bourbon Aged beer (FYI, their Barrel Aged program is extremely good in my opinion) and just bwing a lil nostalgic. Maybe its just this 11.5% beer lol

Wife and I might make a trip out to Old Firehouse Brewery in Williamsburg, OH tomorrow. One of the few in the local breweries we haven't visited yet.

We stopped by Listermann's to pick up two four packs of Team Fiona, solid. I also had a pint of Brew Fighters, also a good one.

Had a Rhinegeist Streaker over the weekend. It was the first Rhinegeist offering I can say I genuinely didn't care for.

Did they rye turn you off?

I usually like ryes. Hustle is one of my favorite offerings of theirs.

Guess you haven't heard. Be prepared for the next time that you drink a Hustle. No longer a Rye Pale Ale.

Was disappointed.

Been getting lucky with the pick-six at Kroger lately. Saturday I picked up 3 Rhinegeist Knowledge and 3 Elysian Space Dust for $9.99. Usually a 4 pack of Knowledge is 11.99 alone.

Mother-in-Law picked me up a few 4 packs of various brews from Taxman Brewing Co. in Bargersville, Indiana. She passes through there every couple months and always stops in and grabs me some new beers to try.

Pretty solid stuff.

Good mother-in-law haha!

Tried a few new beers this weekend. Urban Artifact's Hippodrome, which is a wild DIPA, I enjoyed a few of those. Also picked up an 8 pack of Six Point Lo-Res, a very flavorful session IPA. A good pool beer but a bit pricey compared to its 15 pack rivals.

I plan on picking up a case of Streetside's NE DIPA, Chillin' tomorrow.
