What Beer/Wine are you are tasting right now?

Won a raffle for DEPs members and had the opportunity to purchase "Goose Island Reserve Bourbon County Stout - Aged in Knob Creek Barrels". So, naturally I did. Not sure when I'll drink it. I've heard some people let it sit for quite some time and it just gets better with age.

If I can win my fantasy football league, that might be my celebration beer.

Also picked up a 6-pack of Madtree's new White IPA, Luna Lux. Haven't tried it yet but looked forward to it.

Well darn it. This just reminded me that I forgot to enter the raffle. :lol2:

I was able to get two of these bottles on Black Friday at a couple of local stores. No raffle needed, I guess I got lucky. I waited at one store to open at 7:00 A.M. to get a bottle as they would only sell you one. A couple of hours later I had to get back out and decided to stop at another store and check and they had a few bottles just sitting on the shelf, so I got another one.

The labeling seems to suggest that it will get better with age up to five years. Since I have two I'm think that I might open one relatively soon, and maybe just put the other one away and forget about it for a few years.

Haha sorry for the late reminder lol

If I had two, that's what I'd try to do at least.

I really enjoyed Stone's Enjoy by Christmas, unfiltered IPA.

Picked up Brooklyn's Local 2, 9.0 abv. Really good! It moves up to the top as one of my favorites.

I'm currently drinking my first Founders Breakfast Stout. Stouts are not my go to style, but I'm really regretting never trying this before. Wow this is a good beer, especially on a cold night like tonight. There is a lot going on in this one; chocolate, coffee, oatmeal. It won't be my last.

Gonna be hitting up Cappy's this weekend to secure my Christmas festivities beverages.

Any can't miss Winter/Christmas beers I need to be on the lookout for?

Holly Jolly Christmas Ale by Fathead's didn't let me down.

12 Dogs of Christmas Ale by Thirsty Dog (I've actually never had it somehow but I got a couple buddies that love it)

Company announced yesterday that our Christmas party is at Braxton this year. I'm pumped. Didn't know they even had a 2nd floor event space there. Apparently we are the 2nd event they've had, I think.

I had a 6'er of the 12 Dogs of Christmas a couple weeks ago and it was really solid.

I'll keep an eye out for the Fathead. :thumb:

Had a beer last night that was a collaboration between Against the Grain & Stillwater Artisnal called Found Word. It was a Hoppy Lager with Pink Guava and was uniquely tasteful.

Really enjoyed Feeling Bright that I had at Rhinegeist tonight while buying some apparel for my wife as one of her Christmas gifts.
