Beer and Hot Wings.

Fresh strawberries and Honey Bell oranges my husband brought back from Florida last night. Large peel and eat shrimp and sauce, lil' Smokies wrapped in bacon, dipped in brown sugar and baked. Veggie relish tray, cheeses, potato skins and ALE-8.

I also have an excellent bottle of port. It's a superbowl tradition.

Oh man, wish I was there! Yuengling and port!!!!!

OK, so my buddy comes over to pick me up — my car is acting up, so he agreed to since I was cooking — and he pulls up … in his car.

 

"How do you suppose we're going to pack my grill in the trunk of your wife's new car?" I told him at least twice in advance that we would need his truck to take my grill as well, as I had four racks of ribs and you can only really fit two per grill.

 

So, whether I wanted to or not, I now own two grills after our trip to Wally World on the way to E'town. :lol:

 

I'm doing two racks of the candy apple cajun spice, one that is a peach curry (with the help of some of momma's peach preserves), and another that's honey BBQ. We're looking at pulling 'em off at about halftime. :banana:

Tonight the feature was the 2001 Bogel Petite Syrah Port, it's a select 120 Barrel Batch. It was a superb ruby port. Incredible boysenberry and blackberry flavors and a nice finish of chocolat. Has been sitting in my rack for 8 years.

Dang. I wish I would've known. Due to extreme circumstances I was in E-town. I could've easily transported you and your grill over there in exchange for ribs.
