#40 Brett Riedinger got very few minutes also in this game after scoring 12 against Scott. Of course they lost the Scott game and won the HC game, so I will put my trust in Coach L

Not as old or wise as you, Mr. Guy so you are going to have to explain the logic in this one. You seem to be saying that if Mr. Reidinger played less in the Scott game, the chances of winning the game would have been higher, but I don't belive that, nor do I think you do.

 

I think this really goes back to something that you pointed out earlier this week and that is there is no set rotations with this team. Mr. Wilson started this game, and I like the young man he gives 100% every time he is on the floor, but he has had little playing time recently. Why start him tonight? (Again in the words of our President, "let me be clear", I belive Mr. Wilson should get more time than he does if for no other reason than his intensity)

It was indeed a team effort, that won this game. Notice that the big men got their numbers, but the rest of the team stepped it up a notch and played very, very well also. Notice the lack of T.O's

Nope just pointing out that there had to be a reason for Coach L not starting Mattie nor playing Brett as much in this game as he did in the Scott (Kenton) game even though Mattie started and Brett scored 12. Was it something he noticed in the game? Was it how they practiced, or how better someone else practiced? Was it a better match-up opportunities for someone else? No idea at all but I will put my faith in Coach L.

 

You know a couple of years ago, a kid by the name of Danny Noll was starting, he was playing only okay, then Coach L didn't play him as much, then all of a sudden Noll started coming up huge in games. Coach L knows how to handle his players, me I just post my thoughts but in Coach L I trust.

The 60% was pretty much one of the better nights from the Charity Line for the season.

 

BTW the 3P and FT lettering are in the wrong place

Nice team effort by the Colonels :thumb: Good to see offensive action by more than just a few. Looks like Coach L is getting his team to find themselves and are starting to peak at the right time. If everyone plays with this kind of focused confidence, and they build a plentiful bench, they could certainly surprise come post season. Sure couldn't hurt to have more legs to wear other teams out. This made a huge difference against the Indians, who didn't stop their hustle, but just didn't have enough bench to keep up.

Strong effort by Heimbrock, Pauly, and Connely as well as the usual suspects (Thelan & Wellbrock). Great defensive effort by Robinson. It was an honor to be present for the 2010 Holy Cross Hall of Fame Class induction ceremony. Congratulations to Mr. Schneider and the other inductees. And, very entertaining internet broadcast. :thumb:
