IMO - I still do not understand how you can continue to give minutes to players who do not produce. Some Covcath guards play minutes without producing any real positive stats (points, assists, steals, rebounds vs turnovers.....). Does anyone have official stats for the season on all the Covcath guards? It would be interesting to see the production of each guard, especially against minutes played. The good news is that Covcath made a few outside shots and controlled the boards without turning the ball over. Still must continue to improve the outside shooting and control turnovers with each game left to be ready for the districts and region.

I was disappointed to not see them there.

 

However, I agree with the parents call on this one I would not have wanted my kid on Kyles Lane or similar road at 9:00 last night.

 

May be a dumb question but why does CCH have so many seniors and Juniors?

 

I think there were 4 or 5 juniors playing JV, including at least 1 junior that did not start JV.

 

I thought a couple of the Sophmores deserved more time.

 

I know Anrzen is hurt, but where is Kanter this year?

Lets see, I was at the intersection of Dudley and Thomas More Parkway at 5:15pm and it was snowing. Maybe in Covington at the bottom of the hill it wasn't but by the time I got home to Boone County at 5:45pm it was coming down pretty good!

I couldn't even get out of my subdivision due to the heavy snow in Hebron. It was crazy deep yet nothing where I worked.

Disappointing effort by the Crazies.

Strong effort by Heimbrock, Pauly, and Connely as well as the usual suspects (Thelan & Wellbrock). Great defensive effort by Robinson. It was an honor to be present for the 2010 Holy Cross Hall of Fame Class induction ceremony. Congratulations to Mr. Schneider and the other inductees. And, very entertaining internet broadcast. :thumb:

 

It's a tad ironic that 3 basketball players are going into the HOF and none of the 3 should have gone there. All 3 are very deserving, but they need to get kids that can play to start going there again somehow.

It was sloppy & nasty in Covington with build up on my car while heading for the game around 6:15 p.m. - It was even sloppier and slushier when I got back on the road near 8:50 p.m. Not the worst I've ever seen, but certainly conditions that merited caution.

Nothing major, but caution was needed.
