Looks like they got the last laugh on you and the others who criticized the weather forecasts last night. We've got a little over four inches, and that's dead on what they said we would get.

 

I love everyone that piles on the weather man when they are wrong. Crickets from them now.

 

Yeah because we got about 2" here in Newport at best and that definitely equals out to the 5-6" they reported on the 6 o'clock news yesterday we were going to get....

 

Also when I wrote that at 3am there was NO accumulation on the ground and it wasn't even snowing outside. Yesterday they reported that by 9pm we would have an inch of accumulation and by midnight we should have close to 2" and the rest should come overnight.

That's a good lesson in not jumping to conclusions before the evidence is all in. :thumb:

And I must say if someone wants to shovel my snow while i'm not looking, they will not get any complaints from me.

I am still piling on! There is no more than 1" on my drive this morning when they were calling it 2"-4" even 3" - 6" and now at 3:00 pm, my drive, street and walkway are clear, without shoveling!

 

I am telling you that I hope to god that my doctors office isn't satisfied with weather man accuracy percentages in their line of work!

 

I can't slide anywhere, even with the white death on the ground!

I left the movies at Newport on the Levee at 1am last night and temp was 33 and it was raining and very little snow on the ground. By the time I reached Fort Thomas Ave. my temp reading was 31 and snowing quite a bit and about 2.5 inches on the ground.

I just got back from Latonia a little while ago. I don't think there was as much snow on the sidewalks and driveway as there was in the Ft Mitchell area. I used a broom to get the snow off of the walk way and steps. The roads are alot better than they were at 8:00am this morning.

I believe you but honestly don't understand how you have 5 inches I'm in latonia about 5 minutes away and if I had to guess we have about 2-3 inches.

 

I live in South Cov / or what I would call Independence and we got at least 5 to 6 inches here. No doubting that!

Well I said we got 6 inches in Edgewood, but my wife says I'm dreaming, it was much less! :laugh::laugh::laugh:
