Noticed Perry Wing officiated the game. Perhaps he should have been scratched due to a conflict of interest. I know Boone's coach has done some business with Wing's employer. Would that constitute a conflict of interest?

Standing right above it I would say this is an extreme exageration. The ref's were very confused and the call unclear. I do have pictures of the Boone girl sitting on the floor and Nell speaking with the officials but at no time did I see Nell approach an opposing player.

She chased Dawn Johnson to right in front of the scorer's table. I'd like to see game films. If she didn't bump Dawn it was close. She was in her face screaming at her.

By the way, is the pre-game ceremony over yet?

I don't know, my wife told me I slept throught it.

Fookes always seems to get away with more than most coaches. Especially in Nky.

Tonite was my first time ever seeing the Moss girl play. Obviously, she's talented and strong and dominates the inside plus she has a sweet stroke from the foul line. Dominant.

 

However, if you made me pick one player that you can project her game to the college level I'll take Crittendon. Very impressive all-around game.

No exageration at all. Was sitting right there. Fookes walked out on the floor

and got in the face of the Ryle player. These kind of things will show up on a game film I am sure. Unbelievable, should have been given a technical at minimal or thrown out of the game. Ryle's coach saw it happen and was

asking the officials why Fookes wasn't given a technical. On the same play the Boone player who was shaken up was assisted by a coach on the floor and was allowed to stay in the game without coming out. Ask the player what Fookes said to her I am sure she can tell you the same thing I heard, the Ryle coach heard and those sitting where I was sitting heard.

 

I did not see the foul but the incident did happen with the player; two problems I had was how long they continued to listen to Fookes instead of telling her it was over and to sit down and how did the fallen player stay in the game?

Crittendon in required to play at both ends of the floor and she does it inside when she is really a wing player. I also picked the brain of a coach in attendance and asked him what first attracts them to a player and he said points. Then they are interested in body type for their level. Finally, he said, they put a premium on whether the player is willing to play just as hard at both ends. Interesting.

I totally missed the Ryle player part of the foul. There was quite a bang when the Boone player went down so when I looked up from my camera I looked directly at her. I still say comparing it to the Woody Hayes incedent is a bit much.

Hopefully someone will send game film to the KHSAA and Nell will finally be called out for her disgraceful behavior

Man-o-man...both coaches celebrated a great career for this woman...she played 3yrs and waited 20yrs to have her jersey retired and someone has to complain taking 20 minutes to honor her...good golly!
