If Stubbs is effective this year, this offense could get dangerous.

I'm heading to Goodyear in March to check out Spring Training. Should be fun.

Holliday and Pujols will be an RBI machine. I see the Reds finishing 3rd. Votto HAS to be a leader on this team for them to be successful. Rolen also has to come up big this season. Im saying Votto and Bruce will have 30+ homeruns. Phillips and Rolen will each have 100+ RBI's and 20+ homeruns. Volquez(if healthy) will have 12+ wins.

Cincinnati Reds '10 - 88-74

Rolen hasn't driven in 100 since 2004. I'd be happy if he could produce 70+.

Nice. That'll be a blast. I went to Sarasota & Ft. Myers last year & really enjoyed watching the young guys.

The facilities at Goodyear will be beautiful.

I feel they are probably a 3rd place team but could finish 2nd behind the Cards. I don't think Chicago is as good as a lot of people think and I don't think that Chicago and Milwaukee have that great a pitching staff. Houston will be beneath the Reds and Pittsburgh is Pittsburgh

Chicago is a very good team if they are able to stay healthy. They only had their opening day lineup on the field 2 times last year. The actual starting lineup missed 584 total games due to injuries and still finished above .500.

I'd say 3rd seems about right. Two out of St Louis, Chicago and Milwaukee will finish ahead of them.

What does their starting rotation look like?

Zambrano

Lilly

Dempster

Wells

Gorzellany?

Is that it? Are they going to let Samardjiza compete for the starting rotation?

The 5th spot is up in the air right now, also got the guy we got in return for Bradley from the M's...

God help us all if Silva is in the rotation ...

I think the Reds have the potential to finish 2nd in the division but I see them finishing 3rd. They have begun to put together a really good ball club but unfortunately injuries usually tear it apart.

I thought Lilly was injured and going to miss some time?

Supposedly a start or two at the beginning of the season ... Sean Marshall could end up filling in, which isn't all bad.

Oh thats not as bad as I thought. I still think the Cubs will struggle. Sure, on paper they could match up with anyone on offense but their pitching is nothing special and bullpen is average. This team is injury prone but if they stay healthy then who knows.

Carlos Silva? Seriously?

Carlos Silva? Seriously?

I was just mentioning him along with Marshall, Gorzellany, Shark and I think I'm leaving someone else out as well that could compete for the 5th spot, I have no idea who to expect fill out that 5th spot..
