Les picked them to finish last. Why do I not find that hard to believe? Les, man up and put your avatar on the line. I know it's a long way off, but if you're that confident, let's have an avatar challenge. If you're right and they finish in the cellar, I'll sport an avatar for one month that displays "Les is a Genius". If not, you sport one of my choosing. You game? Or is it all blow and no show?

It's the Reds. It's obvious if it weren't for the financial strapped Pittsburgh Pirates, they would always be awful. I appreciate you taking so much stock into whatever I say:ylsuper: I just remember Atlanta DOMINATING the Reds in the 1995 NLCS when Reggie Sanders struck out 10 times in 16 at bats. The Red Legs haven't been the same since.

Plus, Dusty's track record isn't the greatest, so why not sixth?

Different century. You game or not? Simple question.

Different century .... same ole song and dance, wait until next year.

What's wrong Les? Are you

Would you be willing to make the same bet if they finish lower than 3rd?

I'm willing to make that bet with you. If the Reds finish 3rd or higer you sport an avatar of my choice until Thanksgiving Day. If they finish 4th or lower I'll sport an avatar of your choice for that same period.

What's wrong Les? Are you

Ummm, first off, I have more important things to do than make a petty bet. Second off, I stated my opinion and I'm sticking to it. As for getting personal and using pictures for name calling .... I ask why? Does that break a rule?

If not, go ahead and amuse yourself, as for me, I'm like Pete Rose, I don't bet.:sssh:

I didn't call you a name. I asked you a question.

Pitching healthy or not. The Reds won't be contending right up until September. This is the Reds we're talking about.

The same could have been said about the Bengals before the 2005 season. They had been bad for so long, yet they were able to get into the playoffs. So don't act like its impossible to do, just because they have been bad for a long time.

I agree with you. I never said it was impossible did I? Didn't think so. I'm sorry that I have picked the Reds to finish dead last, but that's the way I feel.

Case closed with you pal, I don't have time to deal with you.

Have a good day. :ylsuper:

You didn't say it. However sure seemed like you implied it. By saying they won't be in contention in September, its the Reds we are talking about. Sure makes it sound like you think its crazy for people to think that, because sounds like you do think it would be impossible for them to. The Reds are a lot like that 2005 Bengals team IMO. They have a pretty good young nucleus, and if they can stay healthy then you never know.

That's right, I didn't say it. Makes me sound like it's crazy for people to think that? OK, did I say that, too? Didn't think so.

Look I'm sorry that I'm not bowing down to the Reds and stating they are going to finish first — in my opinion, I don't think it will happen, but they just might have a chance at the first pick in the draft.

Classic Les never a let down.

Thanks Hammertime.:thumb:

Les just likes to hate on teams he doesn't like for some reason. First GRC, now I see he's starting on my favorite baseball team. :madman: I'd make a bet with him that the Reds finish closer to 1st than they do last this season.

I didn't say that they'd finish last. Just want to make sure he's positive on that one. Notice I didn't say they'd finish first.

No, but you picked them 3rd. Which since you bothered to vote I'm guessing is your opinion. You were giving Les a hard time for his vote and opinion. Since you wanted to see if he was positive on his pick I just wondered if you were positive on yours?

I'm blushing — thanks for taking my opinion to heart. Like I stated before, I'm not a betting man. With that said, the Reds in 2010 - dead last. Even behind ole Pittsburgh.

If it don't have hounds after it Les isn't a fan. :D
