Big East needs to go to 12 teams, all playing football and basketball.

Give G-Town and Nova the choice to move up or leave.

 

If they do add -

If they don't -

^ No way charter members like G'town and Villanova get the boot.

1. Tell ND your in or out - this hurts them with all other sports.

 

2. Try to add Navy, East Carolina, and Troy.

 

3. Pay Nova to move to D-1 football.

I would be in favor of Nova moving up and helping them do so. I like adding Navy and ECU.

I have heard a ton of rumblings about BC going back to the Big East. Natural rivalries, and the biggie easier for the non-revenue sports to travel.

Troy St. is in a town of about 14,000 people, and has limited rooting interest outside its immediate region and alumni base. Memphis St., on the other hand, is in a major metro area of more than 1 million people.

 

I can almost 100 percent assure you Troy St. is not on the BEast's radar, regardless of the upswing their program is enjoying. The BEast taking in Troy St. makes about as much sense as them inviting Murray St. or Morehead.

In regard to the basketball schedule being just stupid everyone not playing home/home series and there being 16 teams, 8 of which don't play football or play at a lower level?

 

 

No other BCS conference is setup that way, and if Pitt goes to the Big 10 EVERY conference will have a football championship game.
