Top O-Lineman In the State.

Who do u think is the top offensive lineman in the state? I feel it is hands down Chris Hawkins, he is a man among boys. He can absolutely dominate a game from either right tackle or center.

Umm, hate to burst your bubble. But no question it's Justin Jeffries or Derrick Elder from St. X. Both 300-plus and solid.

Being 300+ isnt always a good thing. A good offensive lineman is Big Strong and moves well. Chris is 6'3'' 285, 5.1 40 and has benched 350 and squats 600. He also recorded the second most reps at uk big man competition over the summer.

St. X does have some beastly lineman. When the O-line is big/strong/quick... the offense will be successfull.

I've seen Derrick Elder, he is big and solid and no Pillsbury doughboy. He just committed to play for WKU.

Chris Hawkins was #75 at Henry Clay. 6'3"/285 offensive tackle who played some defensive tackle late in the year. #55 was Jermaine Birch and a load is a good way to describe him. He played center, noseguard, and defensive tackle throughout the year.

Trinity's junior center Dane Spoelker finished a perfect season of snaps (no fumbles). This is a team that loves the gun mind you.... very quick, very aggressive. And.... oh yeah, on defense he has been known to make a tackle now and then too.

Last I heard, he was going to UofL. Don't know about his plans for football, haven't asked him.
