January 10, 201016 yr Is he, or is he not. http://www.latimes.com/news/nation-and-world/la-na-reid-obama10-2010jan10,0,428911.story
January 10, 201016 yr It's so nice to see that Obama is all about fogiveness.......when it's a fellow liberal, that is. Obama: “The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party.” How do you spell hypocrisy?
January 10, 201016 yr I don't know if this one quote makes him a racist but it will be interesting to compare the response on this one to previous idiotic remarks.
January 10, 201016 yr The double standard when Dems stick their foots in their mouths is laughable... Does anyone remember the outrage McConnell received when he said "boy", with regards to Obama's age? This stuff is getting ridiculous... Democrats love using the race card, unless its against one of their own...
January 10, 201016 yr Reid has apologized...did McConnell or Lott apologize and that apology not get accepted?
January 10, 201016 yr Reid has apologized...did McConnell or Lott apologize and that apology not get accepted? Lott resigned, do you think Reid will?
January 10, 201016 yr Reid has apologized...did McConnell or Lott apologize and that apology not get accepted? Then that makes it ok..
January 10, 201016 yr Then that makes it ok.. Why did I bother coming back to P/R? I'm looking for the hypocrisy. If 'the dems' accepted Reid's apology and NOT Lott's or McConnell's then, yes, I'd see hypocrisy.
January 10, 201016 yr Reid has apologized...did McConnell or Lott apologize and that apology not get accepted?Yes, Lott apologized ( http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/12/09/lott.comment/) but will Obama now call for the Democrats to drive Reid out? :sssh: My guess is no. Hypocrisy!
January 10, 201016 yr Lott resigned, do you think Reid will? Before I go back on my P/R hiatus, I'll answer. I don't know if he will...the remarks were made over a year ago. IMO, they never should have been made. I've never been a Reid fan, so it wouldn't bother me if he did.

January 10, 201016 yr Reid is the lowest form scum, but I remember as a young man the word negro was the proper term to use. The United Negro College Fund. The word colored was also proper as in National Assoiation For The Advancement Of Colored People NAACP. Can anyone give us a realistic, common sense reason why we can't use them now. If these words are so corrosive why have'nt they been taken out of these organizations titles. What is it about the word black that makes it so much better. So when does the word change to something else and saying the word black will get us fired from our jobs,or destroyed by liberal media whackos. :idunno:

I've never been a Reid fan, so it wouldn't bother me if he did. I'd just stay on the hiatus . All dems are always wrong here .
January 10, 201016 yr Does anyone besides me agree with Senator Reid? If our country wasn't so darn sensitive to everything that might offend someone this wouldn't be an issue. I mean if Obama was black as night and talked with a "negro dialect" there's no way he would have been elected.
