January 8, 201016 yr BTW, a nifty "Did You Know", this is the first time since USC in the 2004 season (2005 bowl season) that the #1 team in the BCS standings won the national title. The #1 team won the first four BCS titles, and only two since then.

McCoy handled it quite well, to his credit. :thumb: McCoy does very well in interviews. Gotta feel for the kid, but he handled it as well as he could've. Everyone talks about how good of a person Tebow is, but McCoy gave a very respectable and impressive interview after the game. A good interview, no doubt. I thought he handled it as well as anyone could have. I don't really see why it was necessary though.......Isn't that an obvious answer? What was he going to say? "Well, I really enjoyed getting the MRI, spending the rest of the game with a numb arm and watching the reason I came back for my senior season go down in flames. It was just great." I mean all you're doing is seeing if a heartbroken kid will break completely down on national television. Why not interview the coach, who's getting paid to take the heat?

January 8, 201016 yr Auburn's snub has essentially ended up being the greatest thing ever to happen to the SEC. Basically unless there is an overwhelming reason not to (i.e. two undefeated teams like Texas v USC the last time no SEC team made it), the SEC champion is going to go to the BCS Championship for now until it is really proven they shouldn't.
