January 6, 201016 yr Author I'm assuming because we had to pay face and the tickets are going for less. I find it ironic that Blue Magic is mad about tickets not being expensive :idunno: I'm not mad. :thumb: I said I was "almost upset." It makes sense with the weather though.
January 7, 201016 yr We paid well over face value for our tickets. I think it was like 20-25% increase from the normal price. Totally False.
January 7, 201016 yr Care to explain? I think the explanation should come from you. It's simply not true that they charge Season ticket holders 20-25% over face value. Face Value for where I sit (232) is $84 for the Wild Card game, and $145 for the AFC Championship. That is exactly what I was charged. I did incur a $3 handling charge. If you're new to season tickets, playoff tickets cost more than regular season tickets. Prices are set by the league...
January 7, 201016 yr No I am not new and they did raise the price. Your tickets are $77 a game for regular season for season ticket holders so there is an increase. Sorry it wasn't 20%. I don't know exactly how much it was they are in my friends name and I haven't paid him for them yet. It was a rough estimate.

I think he might have just told me the average price for all the tickets which would make more sense. :thumb:
January 7, 201016 yr The game is on my birthday. Maybe Ill try to get some tickets if they are that cheap.
January 7, 201016 yr There are 2 tickets in sec. 126 going for about $60 right now with 9 minutes left...
January 7, 201016 yr I think he might have just told me the average price for all the tickets which would make more sense. :thumb: This is easy to do, and is a mistake that I made at first glance. The playoff tickets are more expensive than the regular season tickets. The Wildcard round is more expensive, but not by much. The AFC Championship game is drastically more expensive. The NFL sets the prices. To buy tickets, you must buy both games. Even though it's unlikely that the Bengals would host the AFC Championship round, you must purchase these tickets to get the Wildcard tickets. If / when the Bengals don't host the game, the amount ($145, I think) will be credited towards next year's tickets.
January 7, 201016 yr $77 for two tickets??? I'm going to cry. I'll be there with my Admiral Nelson rum and a few layers topped off by my beloved Delta coveralls, should be nice and toasty, now the feet are another story, I need some insulated boots.
January 7, 201016 yr $77 for 2 tickets is ridiculously cheap. That's a great deal and one that you won't find very often...
