January 7, 201016 yr Perfect weather, great beaches and lots of eye candy... IMO no place nicer than San Diego at La Jolla Cove. Great place to visit, cost of living is 50% higher than Cincinnati OH per index and I would say that still is not enough. GT is right with this pick...:thumb:

January 8, 201016 yr Oregon, my brother has lived there for 30 years and it is the most beautiful place on earth. The Pacific coast, the Cascade mountains, wine country, Columbia river goarge, Mt.Hood, Crater lake, Hood River, Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Black Butte, and on and on.

My cousin moved to Portland last year, and I'm hoping to take my summer vacation and go there to visit.

There is so much to see but make sure you make it to the coast to see Cannon Beach & Haystack rock & near by Ecola National park, Mt. Hood and the Timberline lodge is also a must, Multnoma Falls. Downtown Portland is way cool, you will have a blast and will go back again and again. If you like wine there is 120 wineries within an hour of Portland.Make sure you allow 7-10 days. It is also beer heaven, lilltle known fact:there are more micro breweries in Portland and Oregon than any place in the world. The river walk in Vancouver WA right across the river is also cool, have dinner over there.
