Beechwood doesn't count because they are within a stones throw and makes sense financially and I'm sure Dale thought they would be competitve. Maybe next year, maybe not. How much longer does HHS have a contract with the Beechies?

You obviously missed this past years discussion between HHS/Beechwood. Someone and I don't know who to quote who follows Beechwood, mentioned that HHS wouldn't want any part of Beechwood in the next couple of years. He was solely using Freshman games I believe. Which holds no water if you know what I mean...I have the upmost respect for the Beechwood program but come on, they are not the Beechwood of old. IMO!!!!

I do think Beechwood will be good enough the next couple of years to give Highlands a better game than they gave them this year, and an upset is not totally out of question. But Highlands is never going to be afraid to play Beechwood. And that is no slight to Beechwood. No top level team in 4A-6A should ever fear playing a 1A school regardless of how good that 1A team may be.

Yes. CovCath should consider it an upset any time they get beat by Beechwood.
