Next coach at Florida?

I know, I had to say something though.......:D

It's not like me to stay silent. I don't know enough about college football to engage in you guys' discussions, but I'd more proud to be a memeber of your staff regardless of my duties.:DAs long as I don't have to clean the locker room or the locker room bathroom....

You're good at arguing your point so we'd have to have you recruiting our biggest recruits. We could bring in the top class in the country like that I'd say . :thumb:

I like that. I'd have loved to have had the opportunity to sit down with John Wall in May...............

Will muschamp (spelling) listen if uf calls? Pretty close to the same job right now, IMO.

Thankfully you didn't get a chance to man. I would have hated to see JW picking the blue and white of Duke over UK. :thumb:

First off, Rick Barnes has withdrawn his name from consideration.

Secondly, let me float this name out there. Bobby Petrino.

I think Strong prolly had an inkling and was told they would be looking elsewhere, plus he has no head coaching experience.

Mullen and Stoops will be prominently mentioned. Stoops getting a little heat from fans in Norman.

Mullen cut his teeth and did a decent job.

I think Petrino at Florida would be a very tough combo.

Tough call. It's practically the same job. On one hand you should always take a job like that IMO if you're given the opportunity. He is more familiar with Texas but who knows how much longer it will take for Mack to retire?

Reading some rumor sites online new Hc will be named within the week and Foley will contact Texas about WM. Find out how true that is.

Look for a press conference around midweek to announce that Tim Tebow is skipping the NFL draft to take the head coaching job at UF. The AD like him because he was a winner and gives a hell of a pre game pep talk.

Who ever they pick they better hurry, there are a lot of kids who will want to see who the Coach will be. I've gone thru this, its no fun.

The longer it takes could be good for Bama right?

Well yeah, FSU/Canes/The rest of the SEC. Recruiting is #1, we have proved that.
