Who will be the next coach for the Gators??

I'm thinking about taking the job.

I'm going to hire Original Rookie and Future Coach to help run my defense. Gametime to do my recruiting evaluations. I'm trying to find enough money for Buckett and Stick1 to run the offense, and Big Spikes is going to coach the special teams. I think we can take the SEC by storm! :thumb:

In all reality I'm going to say it will probably be Bob Stoops. I wouldn't sleep on Charlie Strong though, they said he hadn't signed an actual contract yet.

I would go after Petersen (though he doesn't want to leave), Petrino, Kyle Whittingham or maybe Chip Kelly though. KW and Bobby P would probably take the job, I don't know about Petersen or Kelly though.

If I offended anyone I mentioned above I'm sorry. I was just goofin' around and those guys I mentioned always have good conversation on here IMO.

Gee, thanks....:idunno:

I can at least take care of the Public Relations, be your top assistant(kind of like Pitino's boy Vince Tatum:D) or something involving the press..

A buddy of mine texted me that same thing about Spurrier. I just wonder if they'll look at Bob Stoops or Chip Kelly. Spurrier coming back would not surprise me at all. I am sure he has already called Foley.

This would be crazy but I have a feeling Bobby Bowden still wants to coach, what if he wanted the job. I really doubt it would happen, but what if he had interest.

Petersen and Stoops would have to be on the short list.

Would Pete Carroll ever leave LaLa land?? :idunno:

My bad PP, I would never have left you out on purpose man. Those guys were just the ones I thought of that post alot on the College Football board. I always enjoy hearing your perspective on here man. As a whole I think this entire board always engage in great and entertainly discussions. :thumb:

As an FSU fan, I think Florida wouldn't even return his calls based on his body of work since 2001. Why would you hire a guy who can't win more than 7 games or win an ACC Championship with all of that NFL talent that FSU still produces yearly?

Hang on....now that I think about it....I'm all for Bowden going to Florida. Then UK and FSU could beat Florida.

A buddy texted that idea to me. Would make for a stange game at the end of the year, but I think the Cats could snap the streak with BB on the sidelines for UF as well.

I know, I had to say something though.......:D

It's not like me to stay silent. I don't know enough about college football to engage in you guys' discussions, but I'd more proud to be a memeber of your staff regardless of my duties.:DAs long as I don't have to clean the locker room or the locker room bathroom....
