Things that I Hope go obsolete in the upcoming decade

People who cannot finish a meal without an extended cell-phone conversation about the party last night, the party tonight, the party tomorrow night or the latest romantic entanglement.

Reality TV. John and Kate. Octomom.

Parents who concoct runaway balloon stories for face time.

Televangelists.

Gas grills. Gimme charcoal.

Commercials extolling the virtues of erectile dysfunction remedies. I pity parents of small children ("Daddy, what's an erection? Why should you see a doctor if yours lasts more than four hours?").

That one is one that gets on my nerves. I don't know why I let it get to me, but it really ticks me off! My boss has an insight address. Whenever he e-mails me, it has his wife's e-mail address on it. I want to tell him that insight allows multiple addresses....but....I'm thinking that may not be in my best interests.

When Email first began, a lot of people did it and I understand why. They were hesitant and not really sure what was going on nor was it used often. 10 years later you need to get with the program.

Paris Hilton.

Bluetooth headsets/ear plugs/whatever they're called. Are you really too lazy to put the phone to your ear? And do your really need to wear it 24/7? If your homeboy calls, then put it on if your hands are full?

The 19 and counting family. Go to the doctor and get clipped or something.

Reality TV in general as far as I'm concerned.

MLB's open market, or whatever you want to call it. There needs to be some type of salary cap.

Ridiculously high rookie contracts in the NFL. Prove yourself before making millions.

People who are too lazy to change out of their pajamas for a trip to the grocery store.

People who abuse the welfare system

People who cannot read the "non-customers must come in" sign in the drive thru (I have a lot of friends who work in banks and have loads of interesting stories)

and the pajama thing that Mcpapa said.

For the posters who say "People who abuse the welfare system"

I will up the ante:

I want to see an end to a welfare system that enables abuse.

People who are too lazy to change out of their pajamas for a trip to the grocery store.

Is it OK if I still wear my bunny slippers, though? :bunny:

5. Strangers who think they have to start a conversation with you just because you are both stuck in some line. I just wanna pay for my M&Ms and get out of there

4. Unwanted emails. I do love Jesus but I don't think I have to pass along this chain email to everyone I know and the person who sent it to prove it.

3. People who feel the need to invade your personal space when talking to you. Can't stand it.

2. Public Smoking
