Anybody else going through "Football Withdrawal"??

I know there's still College & Pro Football to watch/follow, but it's not the same.

Clearly, many of us are.

I agree. Especially the way our season ended. All ready thinking about next season.

I agree Bluto :thumb: It's not the same. Not only is high school football over, the football threads has just about died in here. I guess everyones moved over to the basketball threads, and I'm not into high school basketball.

The sting of being soooo close and losing has prolonged the agony for this community....I found myself with nothing to do Friday so I went to the basketball game and since our school is so small most of our basketball team is comprised of football players...What do ya know I went to a basketball game and a football game broke out complete with forearm shivers and tackling...HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!

I am counting down the days until spring practice!

No I am not missing football at all!

Friday nights in Monroe Co. are for football. Miss the games very much but have a sad heart for our young man Ethan Strode injured in the automobile accident.

Agreed.

Winning a championship lessens the withdrawal pain. Being on the other side is not fun during the off season.

It was really weird the other night not having a Friday night game to look forward to. The last four years flew by and our oldest son played his last game for the Rocks last weekend. It's going to be alot different for us next year not having a kid in the action. I can't wait to just sit back in my old seats at the top right corner of the visitors side and be a regular fan, at least until my 4th grader makes it to Trinity in 2014!

Minute by agonizing minute!!! The first couple of weeks after the season are always the toughest. Just can't seem to get into the basketball mood yet.
