The Fort Campbell Falcons are your 2009 Class 2A State Champions!

Game closer than the score, not really over until Desales stopped on FC 16 down 21-9 with about 5 to go.

Desales' inability to throw the difference, along with the FC punt return for TD.

Congrats FC. With 1st downs, total yards, and yards rushing, Murray must be the 2nd best team in 2A. Check the stats and numbers.

Murray was a good team but to say they were second best is debatable. FC had more turnovers and miscues against Murray than anyone else in the playoffs...

Maybe this would make for a good thread now that we know who the best team in 2A is... some stats to ponder...

Vs Murray FC had 375 yards of offense

Vs Monroe FC had 299 yards of offense

Vs FC Murray had 317 yards of offense

Vs FC Monroe had 252 yards of offense

The main thing is congrats to FC on their 3peat...:dancingpa

Murray had a great team, but I really hate the "we must have been 2nd best" posts.

Fort Campbell went wire to wire, best team in 2A.

Murray threw 1 pass against FC

Desales coach not very happy on news report with actions of Ft. Campbell at end of game. Any explanation??

Desales was up at half. What happened?

What was the attendance for this game?
