December 3, 200916 yr If you are looking for a place that will be fun for the UC game and then be mellow the rest of the day (not dead, but you'll be able to enjoy the games) then go to Beef O'Bradys in the Newport Shopping Center. It's about 1 mile from the Levy so you can head there afterwards, or go to Jersey's afterwards. That's if you want to stay towards Newport.
December 3, 200916 yr My two places would be either Willies or Dickmans, a cab will know where they both are and plenty of TV screens. Young peopel and old attend both so you will fit in no matter what. JD
December 3, 200916 yr I'm shocked at all of the people who suggested Arnies. It'd be one of the last places in NKY that I go. Im with ya on this one. Never been a big fan of Arnies. Longnecks is nice, I might go there for the games Saturday now that you guys mention it. Ive only been once or twice and always forget about that place.

That would be a little expensive to get there and back.
December 3, 200916 yr Longnecks is easily the best place to watch any type of sporting event. We've been going about a couple times a month since it opened up. Great food, and really good drink prices.
December 3, 200916 yr It's a pretty large place I've never been to Brothers but I know its bigger than B Dubs. If you wanna get a seat at Longnecks get there about 12ish for the game. I peeked in Brothers today. It looks pretty awesome! They had a menu outside, everything looked pretty reasonable.
December 9, 200916 yr Author I've been to Brothers in Indy and CBus. They are really nice. Ended up the guy that plans our trip had a good friend that owns Beef O Brady's in Newport I think it was. We watched a lot of ball there. It was good. BenGALS ended up being in the lobby of our hotel when we checked in so we rallied there then walked to Rock something brewrey. It was OK. Really crowded but not a bad place to grab a drink. We went out that night to Black Fin. We had a good time. I got a priceless picture of me and Gillyard lol. I wish you all could see it. He was definatly celebrating the huge day he had!

December 10, 200916 yr Good choice, love that it's smoke free. That's one of the main reasons that I don't mind going to Cinci bars even though it's much more of a "bar seen" as opposed to a let's just get out of the house environment which is usually more what I'm in for.
