I've been Brothers in CBus and Indy. They were both real good. How far is longnecks from downtown Cincy cab wise?

 

Pretty much all highway so it wouldn't be to bad I don't think.

Thanks guys. I'll share the info with the guy that is planning the trip (rooms, tickets, vehicles etc). What's longnecks comparable too? Is it like a Brothers, BDubs kind of place or more of a small place.

Longnecks would be about a 15 minute trip. It's five miles from the river to I275 and another 5 minutes from there. I tried to go once but it was so packed and I couldn't consider waiting but it looked like a nice place.

It's a pretty large place I've never been to Brothers but I know its bigger than B Dubs. If you wanna get a seat at Longnecks get there about 12ish for the game.

I've never been there to watch a game or when it has been really crowded, but I've always enjoyed it. Good bar food and burgers, although it can get a little pricier than one might imagine.

Also, I bet the cab ride is more than $15. It'd be reasonable if you have a full cab, but cabs in NKY aren't that cheap.

 

At night, I'd go to Longworth's in Mt. Adams.

Good choice depending on what age group you are looking for. Love that place.

There is a relatively new bar in Cincy called Mainstay that is supposed to be pretty cool. I haven't been there, so I cannot comment on how it is for watching games.

 

Cool place Mainstay! Travis Tuesday will set you up. Might be a better late night option. You should hit the Levee in Newport on the river. New sports bar opened up next to Barnes n Noble. Its called Brothers Bar and Grill. Nice atmosphere and plenty of TVs.Nightlife just across the street at Arnies. Lots of youngins over there so good luck.

Stick all I can say is stay out of the Hyatt bar Champs because its overpriced. I will give you the ok to do a quick 2am drive by on your way to bed but that's all. Have fun!

You should have just seen our faces when the bar tab came. My buddy asked the waitress, "so how many buckets did we have.....like 7 or 8???"

I'm shocked at all of the people who suggested Arnies.

 

It'd be one of the last places in NKY that I go.

I would go to Willies, they have redone the inside and you can sit anywhere and watch a game on a big screen. Night life isn't too bad there, they have a dj and a dance floor and it's right on the river and close to Mainstrausse if you want to go bar hopping after watching the games.
