Best sports places Cincy/Northern KY

Featured Replies

I'm going to the state games Fri morning but heading to Cincy Sat morning. A bunch of friends and I go to a Pro game every year. For whatever reason they backed out on seeing Minn play see we are going to the Bengals game Sun. We are all hoping to get up there early Sat morning though so we can see UK/UNC and the Cincy/Pitt game then watch ball most of the day.

I think we are staying at the Hyatt in Cincy but I wanted to ask you all that are out around there where the best places are in Cincy to watch ballgames all day and where the best places in Northern KY to watch games all day. We might go out at night if you have ideas on that one.

I don't live up there but I have been in Arnies(sp?) across from the Levy. If I remember it was a sports bar and seemed to be ok.

I would suggest Willie's Sports Bar, over on the Kentucky side. Good food and lots of TV's.

You might want to try tailgating before the Bengals game. I understand it has gotton to be lots of fun!

We are tailgating Sun. Looking for stuff Sat. Willies...funny I forot about that place. Talked to Corey Dillon the night Rudi took his job last time I was there. I should add we want a safe place too.

Arnie's across from Newport on the Levee...:thumb:

How old are you guys and what type of crowd are ya looking for?

I wouldn't go to Arnies, but that's just me.

There is a relatively new bar in Cincy called Mainstay that is supposed to be pretty cool. I haven't been there, so I cannot comment on how it is for watching games.

Longnecks is easily the best place to watch games in NKY.

I'd say Willies, Long Necks isn't too close to where you'll be but it's good. I mean it's about 10-15 minutes. But I figure you wanted something within about 5.

Have to tell us where you decide on, may swing by for a few.

Longnecks in Wilder is a nice new bar. All HD flat screens.

Willie's always a sports crowd. Lots of TV's.

Mainstay is pretty cool.

If you in Covington, then you can basically walk over to Main Straus and any bar in Main Staus has a nice set up.

Personally we've been favoring Longnecks lately due to the great Tv's, great food, and good amount of UK and Bengals Fans.

No doubt.....I feel like it blows every other sports bar out of the water.

I forgot about Longnecks. It's a little out of the way, but it is a great place to watch TV.

I know they had deals during Red's games. I think it used to be dollar beers when the Reds hit a HR until the opponent scores.

I'm assuming they do something similar during football games too.

A ton of TVs, great food, and awesome atmosphere.

I agree with that no matter what age. I heard Brothers on the Levy is a good place to but haven't been yet.

I've been Brothers in CBus and Indy. They were both real good. How far is longnecks from downtown Cincy cab wise?

10mins if that.

Tell the cab driver to take you to Longnecks in Wilder. Tell them to take 471 to 275 Wilder Exit. I bet its no more than $15
