How close was the 8th grade game????

 

46-34. TF did not score in the 4th.

Campbell County swept Grant Co @ Grant last night.

Ockerman 6th by 13 over HMS

 

Ockerman 7th by 20 over HMS. Very nice 7th grade basketball TEAM. Stanley is a great player that makes everyone else on the floor better. He commands so much attention on both ends of the floor that the other 4 players get good looks at the bucket. When they get those looks, they finish. HMS looked like deer in headlights.

The final score of the 6th grade game was 53-41. HMS had a lead of 29-21 in the early stages of the 3rd quarter and let it slip away. Final score is not indicative as to how close the game was. Final margin was the result of Ockerman hitting their free throws and HMS not able to convert at the other end. The bench was much shorter last night and the result was a very competitive basketball game. Players were not worried so much about where they needed to stand to run plays and just played basketball which resulted in some nice easy baskets off of very good passes both in the half court and the full court.

stinkyboy II and JOAT thanks for the updates keep them coming. No doubt Stanley is difference maker and an exceptional athlete. On the sixth grade front it looks like it was a real good game.

Can anyone offer any insight regarding Gray? Haven't heard much about them on here. I know they played CC earlier this week, how did that one play out?

6th grade is very good with Moss leading the way. I think he had 36 on the Camels this week. They also have a couple good guards.

I think that the 6th grade team may be the team to beat in NKY along with a couple of others. Good all around size and guard play.

Wow, sounds like a great game. Can you offer any insight into the game itself? I believe that CC will be a team to be reckoned with come tournament time. They continue to improve each and every game it seems. They are well coached and very disciplined, and have very good players.
