December 1, 200916 yr Highlands 7th over Camp Ernst 55-45. Birds up 20 middle of the 4th and coasted to the victory. Griffin Urlage played very well. Camp Ernst won the 6th grade game by about 6.

December 1, 200916 yr Highlands 7th over Camp Ernst 55-45. Birds up 20 middle of the 4th and coasted to the victory. Griffin Urlage played very well. Camp Ernst won the 6th grade game by about 6. Same old story with the 6th grade last night. Play themselves into a hole by attempting to play the entire bench and then get down 7 or 8 points and try to battle back in the final quarter. Actually cut the deficit to 4 late in the game, but costly turnovers and forced shots were there undoing. This team is better than their current 3-3 record. They need to be allowed to display their skills rather than worrying so much about where they need to be standing on the floor to run a play.

December 1, 200916 yr The previous poster regarding IHM & Beechwood is mistaken. The IHM 7th girls defeated Beechwood by 30+ points (41 to 10 I believe). Also, the 7th and 8th boys games were also won by IHM.

Also, the 7th and 8th boys games were also won by IHM. The previous poster was ALSWAYSWRONG. Maybe we were supposed to get it that his post was intentionally wrong. I was confused though, I thought the IHM squad's were a little stronger than the Beechwood teams this year.

There is a fine line that every coach/team struggles with in not being robotic but being able to run a play and work together as a team.
