I will say Florida by 8, 31-23.

I'm taking Bama.

Alabama imo will take this one by playing solid defense along with a ball control offense..... playing the field postion game and limiting U.F.'s possesions.

Bama 27

Florida 24

I haven't thought too much about it but the difference to me is Tebow.

UF and Bama have nearly similar defenses. At best Bama's is as good as UF's, but I don't see how they could have a better one. I personally think UF's defense is better, but like I said it's close.

Offensively, I think UF has a better offense as crazy as that sounds. Auburn limited Ingram, and while I don't expect him to have that kind of game this weekend, I don't see him just dominating UF. I don't think McElroy can win the game if it comes down to it. He has regressed since the beginning of the season, IMO, and right now just is not a good QB. Tebow may not be Peyton Manning but he does make plays and in a close game always seems to will himself to victory.

As close as the two teams are on paper the difference is at QB. UF has a future college HOF'er at QB and Bama has a guy that is middle of the road (for now).

I will go with the Gators in this one somewhere between 7 and 10 points. Both teams have great defenses but Florida with Tebow at QB is a little better on offense. Should be great game just wish it were for National Championship instead of SEC Championship. Think only teams that can beat Florida or Alabama are each other.

CCC, You stated that Greg our QB has "regressed" and I disagree. He did have a stretch where we didn't run any patterns down field because he was in a slump, but his last two games not counting UTC he has played very well.

On the road against Auburn our biggest rival we were down a point and he drove us down and hit several passes in fact didn't miss any of them and had a TD to win the game. He is undefeated since high school. Bama fans are saying it was one of the biggest drives in our history. We have not won at Auburn since 2001.

But when you think about TT that we are facing its gonna be a very hard task and believe me I'm worried. I saw the game last year where we had them beat until Tim took over, and he can do it again.

They are number 1 for a reason, and I can't wait to see him in the Pros.

He is the weak spot of the Bama team IMO. He cannot afford to be inconsistent against the Gators. 3 and outs will really hurt them IMO. I always hate to watch Bama start games, it seems like they try to stretch the field too much. I do think they do that because of UF, because the deep ball IMO is a way that you can hit UF if you choose your spots.

Like I said, if Tebow needs a big drive late in the game most will expect him to pull it off IMO. I don't have much confidence that McElroy would definitely be able to do the same. In the stats I posted, he has had some of his worst games against his best competition. None of the defenses he's faces thus far remotely resemble the Gators defense IMO.

Is the SEC Championship the NCAA Championship for the 2nd year in a row?

I think so.

Me too!

I think last years USC and OU would have beaten Alabama.

I think ...is the key CCC, I think we would have beaten everybody if our left tackle plays. Huge mistake on his part. The team was really hurt by that, but its in the past. CC did you read the part about the drive against Auburn? Our QB was huge.

I think UF will win by 7. But I picked Bama just because I want them to win soooo bad! I can't stand Florida anymore. I get sooo sick and tired of hearing the same thing over and over about Tebow:deadhorse::deadhorse:

I'm taking Bama.

Same here. :thumb:
