I think ...is the key CCC, I think we would have beaten everybody if our left tackle plays. Huge mistake on his part. The team was really hurt by that, but its in the past. CC did you read the part about the drive against Auburn? Our QB was huge.

I've watch the Bama game twice so far, so I saw it. Doesn't change my opinion on McElroy, he's average IMO. And I think USC beats UF, Bama and OU last season.

Florida for two reasons.

1) to complete the Tim Tebow story;

2) to yank Alabama Larry's chain.:D

We will never know about last year but I do think USC second best team in country last year behind Florida.

Ladies, "WHY YOU" picture me chasing you around a room with the mentioned chain. :taz:

UF-USC would have been epic IMO.

Some unneeded drama for Florida this week...

UF football star Dunlap charged with DUI

A top University of Florida football player was arrested early Tuesday and charged with DUI.

Junior defensive end Carlos Dunlap, 20, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. by Gainesville Police Officer Robert Rogers at the signal light at Southwest Second Avenue and Southwest 34th Street.

According to police, Rogers was dispatched to the area to check out reports of a reckless driver in a Chrysler. Rogers said that when he found the car matching the description, it was stopped although the traffic light was green. Rogers said he watched the light cycle through several times but the car remained stopped.

When Rogers approached the car, he said he saw Dunlap alone in the car and apparently asleep while at the wheel.

Never ever bet against Tebow in a big game! Gators will win this close game.

Tebow won last year, let someone else win for a change. Lets see Tim on how he acts as a Christian when he loses a big game....kinda like me when I lost a big game or my team has done.

Folks at church/wife's family are just waiting for us to lose so they can pounce.

Dunlap got a DUI........ what will Urban do suspend him for 10 plays?

Dunlap charged with a DUI not convicted. Will have to agree all I have read most likely he is guilty. As Gator fan would like to see him play but best move would be to not play him against Bama.

I haven't thought too much about it but the difference to me is Tebow.

UF and Bama have nearly similar defenses. At best Bama's is as good as UF's, but I don't see how they could have a better one. I personally think UF's defense is better, but like I said it's close.

Offensively, I think UF has a better offense as crazy as that sounds. Auburn limited Ingram, and while I don't expect him to have that kind of game this weekend, I don't see him just dominating UF. I don't think McElroy can win the game if it comes down to it. He has regressed since the beginning of the season, IMO, and right now just is not a good QB. Tebow may not be Peyton Manning but he does make plays and in a close game always seems to will himself to victory.

As close as the two teams are on paper the difference is at QB. UF has a future college HOF'er at QB and Bama has a guy that is middle of the road (for now).

I agree. Tim Tebow is going to be the deciding factor in this game. I believe that he will have one of his heroic games and bring the gators to a victory.

Gators 28

Bama 24

Ingrams rushing average goes up without Dunlap.

Suspended indefinitely. FL putting punishment over football this time.

I don't think there's really anyone "letting" anyone win or lose games. Tim Tebow is the most clutch player in College Football history, I don't think every team-other than Auburn in 06, Michigan, Georgia, LSU and Auburn in 07 and Ole Miss in 2008-have just "let" Tim Tebow win because his a Christian. :idunno:
