I realize all publicity is good publicity but I can't imagine last night helped his cause.

November 23, 200916 yr He looked like he was trying too hard to be edgy and flamboyant and crossed the line into just nonsense. In addition, his performance is the least of his worries--his song stunk, IMO.
November 23, 200916 yr Absolutely horrible performance. I really hope nobody's kids were watching. The one gesture was way over the line. Garbage.
November 23, 200916 yr As a legitimate talent perhaps? I was just wondering. Not being a watcher of AI, I haven't a clue what his talent is/isn't. But, if he does have legitimate talent, is what he did last night going to diminish the talent? Or diminish his following? Also, I didn't watch the AMA's either, so I still don't have a clue about his talent...or lack thereof.

He can claim double standard all he wants, but I would think if a heterosexual performer did similar things on stage during a prime time TV show they would suffer the same.

Well.....I know he's no Madonna.....but she's done some pretty outrageous things on stage and she still seems to be going strong.
