I've actually heard good things about the movie (although it's all from TV reviews and such).

It is the Michael Oher story, but apparantly the main story is more along the lines of what LRCW stated.....more about 'how having loving, caring people in your life can make a huge difference in shaping a young person's life.'

I really want to see it, but might wait a week before we do.

Later.

I saw this story during the NFL draft and it amazed me then. I really want to see this movie.

 Going to see it tomorrow!

I'm interested in watching the movie. It probably won't be this weekend though.

Regardless of what you think of the movie pick up the book!

Having enjoyed the book so much I will probably pass on the movie as it has zero chance to live up to the book.

Isn't Tim McGraw in this movie?

The funny thing is, I saw the promo two or three times before recognizing him in one of the clips. Not used to seeing him without the hat and clean shaven! Of course, I could have been distracted by Sandra too. :idunno:

Everytime I read a book im so let down by the movie. They can put so much more into a book. Maybe Jurassic Park was the only exception I can remember.

I just got back from the theater, great movie. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

I'm in the middle of it right now and it is wonderful, I'm learning a lot about football also. I guess that is an extra benefit.
