It will be interesting because what usually hurts Male when they play T is T's passing game. T does not throw the ball this year as well as they have in the past.

That's no longer the case, T is throwing the ball very well at this time and will carve up Males secondary and open the running game for Derrick Bishop and Xavier Thomas. Trinity 28 Male 10. If Male plays the same "Roll the Bones" defense they always play, I think they'll struggle to contain us.

DD- I agree that getting BK back healthy has helped the passing game. What I don't understand is the Lexington Catholic game, end of the year, all systems go, all healthy, and 93 yards rushing and a last minute TD to pull it out. This team played well last week, arguably the best game of the year against a very good passing team in Shelby County. I don't know if Trinity will use the same formula as they used against Manual, and keep pounding away.

Trinity takes this one somewhat handily.

If Male can make Trinity one dimensional by stopping the run they have a chance. But that is a big IF. Male will have to rely on big plays because Trinity WILL shut down Male's running game. Trinity wins 28-13

Coach Will Heineman was T's OL coach for the last 3 years or so, and is now coaching OL at LC. You are referring to coach Leach who coached DB at T for a few years, moved to LC and is now at Frankfort.

Wrong. We're not talking about Coach Leach, were talking about Coach Hiedleman. He coached our line the past two years and played for Trinity. He's now the Oline coach at LC. The LC game was their senior night game. They came out pumped and we were flat. Another lesson learned by the Rocks. Winning by huge numbers every week isn't always the best way to enter a ballgame and think it will give you a State Title. I can gaurantee you the Rocks will respect Male and give them everything they have.

Some of T's young guys are now starting to get it and play with greater abandon, especially the second and third levels on defense. Despite this, I am concerned about Male's speed. T will have to be on its toes to allow no long runs. I believe that T will be OK on offense. I am not concerned about the fumblerooski/hidden ball trick although maybe Red has something else cooked up. Disclaimer: I have not seen Male play.
