Passion requires sacrifice and that is what the greatest fan is doing.

I think we need to spread the ball around on the offense. Dont give the other team a chance to key in on one player. Next lets dont forget our defense. Big plays can be made on defense. I will save the actual sermon for Thursday.

Well, to explain. Up until a couple of years ago my wife and I had only missed maybe a handful of games in almost 12 years, playoffs included. I had a nephew under Coach Ross and both my sons played. I'm also a Raceland alum from way back.

I dream of a game with this score. Question is, can we stop them and hold them to 12? I do believe we have an awesome defense but it will be the perfect storm to pull it off. I know Coach Maynard, et al will have the defense prepared. The other question is, will the offense score against LCA's great defense? All these questions.............. and they'll all be answered in just 4 days.

If we have our two big men back (Rodney and AJ) for this game and everyone else healthy. This could be a very good game. Big Rodney and Brian C. didn't play the last game vs LCA. Barr wasn't healthy but is now. He's always a threat running and receiving. Our D-backs played very good against C-ville. If we go down to Lexington with a fire in the gut this could be a good game. We just need to get through this four days of pratice without any freak injuries. Or any players doing any crazy things! This is a good team when we have the whole team together and healthy. We are to thin to be missing anybody for a game like this. We got by C'ville and Lynn Camp without a big part of our line and backs. But we can't get by with it this game.

I would line our first 11 players up against anyone in 1A.

LCA knows everything we do. Do you think LCA will have all receivers and backs up front on the kickoffs? I think we should try and get it to a open dead area around the 30 yard line. We almost recovered one vs C-ville like that. Plus it saves us yards if we don't recover it.

Usually I pick a position or a certain player every week that really needs to execute and have a big game. But this week is different. Every player on the team has to step up. That means everyone from the seniors all the way down to the freshmen.

You make alot of very good points here RAMS68, I am personally proud of this team as I know that most are in how they have fought through multiple injuries, some internal/personel, attitude problems amoung several other distractions.

This years Rams started 1-3 and have went 7-1 since Sept. 11. This team has now got everything looking to "TEAM" football.....ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL. There are not going to be many, if any secrets to come out betwen these two teams. Raceland and LCA know each other very well and imo we are going to have to come out and play by far the best game of our season to get this one.

 

LCA is where we were at at this time last season, they are on a roll with a very, very powerful and experienced team and they are Ranked #1 in the state heading into a regional championship game. LCA came in our place and made a comeback on us that I am still reeling over and spoiled a perfect season and State Championship expectations. Now a year later this Raceland team has the chance to do the same at their place in yet another Regional Title game between the two.

 

Rams...."What say you" ? Lets get focused, stay focused and stay diciplined. Concentrate in practice on the game plan that will be put before you and work towards executing that game plan come Friday night. :thumb::thumb:

I don't know about you Ram fans and players but it is much nicer to get ready for Raceland football during Thanksgiving than it is shopping or watching college or NFL play. Last year spoiled me and I want a lot more of it!!!!!! The only way to have it happen is go down and take that Regional Title and I guarrantee the sirens will blare all over Raceland when our bus pulls back into town.:thumb:
