November 5, 200916 yr I'm not mad. I just wanted something to make fun of you for. I think mine is called foot in mouth syndrome... :idunno:
November 5, 200916 yr Marie Osmond, I have had a crush on her for 30+ years. But a Morman/Baptist wouldn't fit, my wife ignores this. "Paper Roses" :idunno: When both she and Valerie Bertinelli began doing the weight loss comercials......well, I was in Old Geezer Heaven.
November 5, 200916 yr Since weird sleeping habits seem to be popular, I'll share mine. I have to sleep with a pillow over my head and two pillows under my head. I think this weird habit came about from when I was a kid. Growing up in a family of seven (four other siblings), it seems that somebody always had the tv blaring or a light on. I could not (and still cannot) sleep with lights on and any kind of noise. So, as a kid, I would try to shut out the noise and light by putting a pillow over my head. The habit has definitely stuck.
November 5, 200916 yr I forgot to add that I am also weird because I hate the bottoms of peoples shoes. They're nasty. I also hate public restrooms. So much that I do my best to avoid them at all times. Sometimes I have to use one, but most of the time I stay out and wait until I get home.

They're nasty.I'll have you know, the bottom of my shoes are in pristine condition -- except for some gum, which I can't explain -- and I've never worn out a pair in my life. Only get new ones when I get bored with the old ones. Now.....how's that for weirdness?

Both those things are gross.
November 5, 200916 yr Another thing that irritates me is when people leave a soft drink can or bottle sitting somewhere without finishing it. My girlfriend is notorious for this and it drives me up the wall! OH I SO AGREEE! :irked::irked:
November 5, 200916 yr I ALWAYS swipe each pit with deodorant the same number of times. Left pit first (of course), then switch sides with the deodorant (for even wear - why are you looking at me like that?), then the right pit. Agree.. but right side first and yes I count. I forgot to add that I am also weird because I hate the bottoms of peoples shoes. They're nasty. I also hate public restrooms. November 5, 200916 yr Diagnostic Criteria for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder A. Either obsessions or compulsions: Obsessions are as defined by (1), (2), (3), and (4): recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses, or images that are experienced, at some time during the disturbance, as intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress the thoughts, impulses, or images are not simply excessive worries about real-life problems the person attempts to ignore or suppress such thoughts, impulses, or images, or to neutralize them with some other thought or action the person recognizes that the obsessional thoughts, impulses, or images are a product of his or her own mind (not imposed from without as in thought insertion) Compulsions as defined by (1) and (2): repetitive behaviors (e.g., hand washing, ordering, checking) or mental acts (e.g., praying, counting, repeating words silently) that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly the behaviors or mental acts are aimed at preventing or reducing distress or preventing some dreaded event or situation; however, these behaviors or mental acts either are not connected in a realistic way with what they are designed to neutralize or are clearly excessive B. At some point during the course of the disorder, the person has recognized that the obsessions or compulsions are excessive or unreasonable. Note: This does not apply to children. C. The obsessions or compulsions cause marked distress, are time consuming (take more than 1 hour a day), or significantly interfere with the person's normal routine, occupational (or academic) functioning, or usual activities or relationships. D. If another Axis I disorder is present, the content of the obsessions or compulsions is not restricted to it (e.g., preoccupation with food in the presence of an Eating Disorder; hair pulling in the presence of Trichotillomania; concern with appearance in the presence of Body Dysmorphic Disorder; preoccupation with drugs in the presence of a Substance Use Disorder; preoccupation with having a serious illness in the presence of Hypochondriasis; preoccupation with sexual urges or fantasies in the presence of a Paraphilia; or guilty ruminations in the presence of Major Depressive Disorder). E. The disturbance is not due to the direct physiological effects of a substance (e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or a general medical condition. November 5, 200916 yr What a bunch of wierdos, lol. As for me, I have a couple of "quirks". One is when I am in a checkout line, I can't stand to see the candy bars and gum unorganized. I have literally held up lines before trying to straighten out all candy in their little boxes, making sure that all of the rows are even. I also can't stand to see loose hair on somone's shirt. My 1st wife used to smack my hands at church because I would be picking loose strands of hair off of the person in the pew in front of me.

My girlfriend is notorious for this and it drives me up the wall! But if it's an adult beverage and it's still cold? That's not irritating. That's an opportunity.

Good thing you're not one of those monks that have to wear hair shirts.
