Lawrence County also lost 1 QB that is starting for Boyle (Goldsmith) and the other that is one of the best athletes in the state (Shepard). Shep had surgery (best pitcher in the state) but is only a JR.

I agree that everyone on the list has impressive stats and congratulations to all. My point was misunderstood and again I mean no disrespect for the players mentioned.

None taken, I have been impressed with that player for the past 3 yrs and also this season but with the injuries and limited touches early in the season I just didnt mention him.

Pendleton Co. going from 0-11 to 7-3 and winning two games in district for first time is a good story.

Another good one.:thumb:

An interesting story has got to be the struggles of Channing Fugate, a kid who committed to Tennessee before the season and was one of the leading candiates for Mr. Football.

Dosn't Pendleton County have some former Ryle coaches???? :idunno:

How about Shelby Co. 1-10 in 08 to a 8-2 team with losses on the road to Bryan Station and Louisville Male.

Brandon Cresap 21 TD'S and only 2 INT'S thru 7 games. Not sure about the numbers on the last 3 but I think 14TD's in the last 3 games and don't think there was pick anywhere in there either.

1. Lawrence County – as mentioned above

2. Highlands beating Cin St X

3. Somerset going from 5-6 to 10-0

4. Ft Knox winning not only one but two games plus a forfeit

5. Warren Central beating Bowling Green

6. Lone Oak beating Lexington Catholic

7. Ashland beating Ironton, OH

8. Glasgow going from 0-10 to 5-5

9. Fort Campbell never ceases to amaze me

:ylsuper:

One of the greatest achievements I've had the pleasure of filming!

Prestonsburg is a great story too. They lost a slew of talent that I tought would win it all last year. They bounced back to go undefeated! Burchette has flown under the radar but is one of the best in the state!

Per the KHSAA website D'Vontae Bradley of Cooper High School rushed for 1608 yards scoring 17 tds in 9 games. 178 yds a game is pretty impressive!!:thumb:

Cooper is pretty young, I'd say they'll continue to improve next season as well.
