October 24, 200916 yr I turned over to Chris Mathews last night and heard a comment that confirmed why I don't watch him. There was an interview with Ronald Reagan's son and some other guy. Chris Mathews said that the group in this country most like the Taliban is the religious right. What a horse's patootie.

Everybody knows the Taliban are huge fans of the potluck dinner just like the Baptists.

In all seriousness, I give you credit for at least checking out a differing POV from time to time. I occasionally do the same thing.
October 24, 200916 yr Author I assume you don't watch him on a regular basis. In all seriousness, I give you credit for at least checking out a differing POV from time to time. I occasionally do the same thing. I usually don't like to do it because I feel that is 5 minutes of my life wasted and that I can never get back. (At this time, the liberal posters are slobbering at the mouths but LBBC takes a turn in his post that catches them off-guard.) I feel the same way with a Beck, Hannity, Olberman, Mudow, who are all so one-sided that you can't get anything honest or truthful without a major slant to their view and you feel you can't trust what you are watching. So, any of them feels like a waste of my life that I can never get back. (At this time, the liberal posters have eased back in their chair slightly disappointed because the easy and predictable attack they thought they had was quickly defused.) :D
October 25, 200916 yr So the man that shot the preacher at his church because he as too liberal and the man that killed the abortion doctor are not terrorists?? I don't think Chris Matthews was talking about Al Mohler

October 25, 200916 yr Only in acemona's world do two random nutjobs represent the entire spectrum of the Religious Right.:lol: That was good. And funny. But, I disagree. Unfortunately, it's not just in Ace's world.

October 25, 200916 yr :thumb: My point was that those were the people matthew's was talking about. If you like, I can start lumping more people in with them and broaden the group.

October 26, 200916 yr Chris Mathews said that the group in this country most like the Taliban is the religious right. What a horse's patootie. I'm sure he gave his reasons. What were they?
October 26, 200916 yr I'm sure he gave his reasons. What were they? Never mind. I just found the video. No explanation given.
October 26, 200916 yr Author I'm sure he gave his reasons. What were they? He didn't. It was the end of a discussion about Afghanstan and said it. One of the guests said overtop of him that was bunk and nothing else was said. Ace, you want to go that route and the liberal left has killed more with their continuing of supporting the legalization of abortion. They kill OVER 3,000 per day. You have mentioned two. The Liberal left are responsible for far more deaths per day than they religious right are in this country.
October 26, 200916 yr I rarely ever watch him on tv and typically he doesn't bother me, but that statement is idiotic. He should apologize and move on.
