The obvious answer is that a great majority would be against said quotes.

Are you in favor of imprisoning those that make racist quotes?

 

Now what? The number of people in favor would be much, much less.

Regardless of the ultimate conclusion one may reach por stomp their feet about... I do feel safe in stating that it is not MY government's job to finance or otherwise enable infanticide.

I guess I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Am I accurately interpreting your comments to mean that you think abortion is the destruction of a human life, but you don't think those who commit that act should be prosecuted/punished for murder?

Agree with you that abortion is not just a liberal thing (see Giuliani, Rudy). Also agree that most would not go so far as to prosecute women for murder, though I would be an exception. The baby in the womb is a human life, and if it is taken, the taker should be treated as any other who knowingly destroys an innocent, human life.
