It's legal and it's not my place to tell anyone else what they can do. .

 

So you are for legalizing all drugs then? Heroin, Cocaine, Meth, all of them should be legal in your opinion if you are of the position that it is not your place to tell anyone else what they can do.

 

That is SSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Lame because this country has tons of "this is what you can do" issues.

 

We tell parents that they have to educate their child.

We tell doctors that they cannot talk about their patients because of HIPA.

We tell people in this country you can't have the H1N1 vaccine because you are not high risk.

We tell women that they cannot use their body sexually to make a living but we don't want to tell you what to do with your body in deciding to kill an unborn child. Orgasms, BAD and you can't do that! Killing your unborn child, well we can't tell you what to do with your own body.

I'm kind of torn on it. I look at it that way, or at least I would if it were my child and wife/girlfriend. But, everyone doesn't and won't. I wouldn't want to be involved with an abortion, but I don't think it's my place to tell someone else that they can't have one.

 

So?

 

Everyone doesn't look at an African-American as an equal to a white because of some stupid racial opinion they have.

We don't let that stop us from having laws against racism. A person may have the very ignorant belief that African-Americans are less than them and yet when hiring a person, it is illegal for them to take that into account and not hire them simply on the basis of their skin color.

 

I would guess that you don't have a problem with that. And we shouldn't.

 

But we don't stop and say But everyone doesn't and won't.

So that is where we differ.

 

It's also where there is contradiction in the legal system. In the Scott Peterson case, he was convicted of taking two lives. In abortion, it's somehow different.

 

As Jim Shue and others have probably rightfully said the Republicans use it to garner votes from the right, they have convinced through natural logical ends that the Democrats have used this issue to garner votes from the left.

 

They don't want the Republicans to drop the fight on this issue because they are going to exploit this country's over killing unborn babies over 3,000 times A DAY for policital votes.

 

Think about that number. This country has legalized the killing of unborn babies that rivals the deaths on 9/11 in the WTC 356 times per year!!!!!!! Imagine 356 9/11's and we have that every day in this country through abortion.
