I am very proud of this Pendleton Co. team. Hats off to them.

I don't think that many people have picked PC in very many games coach.

Maybe the Bourbon fans and the Franklin fans need to give Coach Teegarden and the Wildcats some credit instead of both groups continuing to blame the coaches of their respective teams.

 

Maybe, just maybe, the reason why Franklin and Bourbon lost to Pendleton was that Pendleton is a better team and not the fault of your coach.

So you are upset that he is the winnest coach in school history and that he has turned a 3-8 team to a 5-5 ( if they beat paris next week) team in one year? I am sure that is not something to be upset about. If you are upset that he won too many games at Trimble then you cannot accept winning. He has won more game at Bourbon in the last 3 years, sounds fimilar to what he did at Trimble when he turned that program in the right direction.

I did not see this one coming. I though Bourbon's big line and Barnes speed would do Pendleton in. I thought wrong. Congrats to Coach Teegarden. Going from 0-10 to 3rd seed in the playoffs is a great turnaround.

Are there players multi sport athletes(baseball,basketball), is it just the coaching and style? Do the parents stay out of things? Just trying to get a handle on this, because you have schools like Bracken County,similar in size, that haven't won a game in 4 years. Could all PC fans please chime in as to what PC's secret is, thank you.

They do have athletes.I believe the turnaround is a complete attitude change of some upperclassmen.They stepped up and became leaders. Congrats to the cats!

Pendleton County is twice the size of Bracken County. Pendleton has had a change in attitude. They have some nice athletes. The QB has came into his own.
