I'm guessing this a CCH record. As someone pointed out during the game conversation, Drew Ellison put up some numbers around 400 but I don't recall anybody doing this.

Stupid was the official who made the call. It had no impact on the play and the offical admitted that he ran into a camera guy.

The official chasing the play ran into someone on the Dixie sideline for the 2nd time in the game. 1st was a warning and 2nd was a flag...

 

I heard from a parent that the sideline infraction on Dixie (90 yard TD) was called because the referee ran into the camera man. From what I understand, the camera man isn't apart of the team. Now don't get me wrong, both teams shot themselves in the foot with all the unsportsmanlike penalties, but I don't see why they would throw a flag when it was clearly going to be a touchdown, as Cov Cath didn't really have a player anywhere near the receiver.

Dixie was called for a sideline infraction because of a cameraman (that had no affiliation with Dixie) on a 90 yard TD play that the sideline had nothing to do with. I've seen some bad officiating this year but this crew all night was hands down "THE WORST". Congrats to CovCath on getting the W.

I checked with both of my camera guys on the field and it wasn't one of them when I heard that after the game. Not much else I can add there if it was one of the news guys outside of there are dotted lines on the field that aren't being enforced if true...

I was sitting on the Dixie side and notice the official early in the game waving people back rather adamently. Seemed odd to me so there must have been some issue happening.

Dixie stands, directly across from Cov Cath cheering section. I sat there most of the game. Without credentials you could get no where close to the sideline.
