At last report it was shaping up to be a very wet night for football this Friday. Will the whole state be in monsoon conditions, or will it just be a NKY thing? Do you think there will be some postponed games? Will the rain keep you from going to your team's game?

 

Neither rain or snow will keep me from my appointed rounds....

Thank God for turf!

Due to the weather, we have got to see what teams are really made of, instead of when they get into the playoffs. This will also be great experience as the weather will truly not affect a good/great team, but the questionable ones will. I like the teams having to face the adversity throughout the season as it will prepare them for the playoffs. We''ll have to wait & see.

I plan on being at the NKY game of the week in my opinion (Beechwood @ Bellevue). The rain won't keep me away from a great football game with so much on the line.

I'm pretty sure Mason County hasn't played on a dry field in over a month.

 

As I remember, it didn't rain during the Lewis County game and the field was reasonably dry. The Harrison County, Russell and West Carter games were all wet. Mason Co. should be used to rain and mud.

Sower usually drains very well. But your visiting sideline will be terrible.:lol:

It has always drained well. Bad part is water will stand on the sidelines. The field middle of the field looks like crap because the school has someone taking care of the field that don't know the difference between a shovel and a rake.

 

As for kick off there should be good footing, a fast surface. The field hasn't been played on in 3 weeks. If the rain stops at 3 everything will be in good shape by kick off.
