Boyle will not be hurt be the lack schedule. They are proven and have a very good coaching staff.

Ok everyone seems to agree that the schedule is fine. Let me now say why I brought it up. In the Lex Cath game Boyle was shut down in the second half. Was it because the starters hadn't played much more than a half all year? Also I've seen some posters say Boyle doesn't get the respect they deserve and at one time I would have agreed.

 

I would like to see Boyle play St X or Trinity just to see how they would match up, I've always wondered what the outcome may be.

 

I also agree that before the season began the schedule looked a lot harder than it has turned out. Heck maybe Boyles schedule is that hard and they're just that good.........

My guess from the end of the Lex Cath game was that French was going to be basic. He felt with a 21-3 lead his defense would win the game. So I think he closed the playbook vs. Lex Cath for when they may have to play them in the future and the team whose coach was their scouting that night. Just my take. :thumb:

I agree with you somewhat Hatz. But if you look at the game besides goal line offense and short yards plays. How many times have you seen Boyle run the offense with 3 backs in the backfield, now many. I think Boyle was trying different things in their offense that Cath. had not seen. And has Rebel said in a earlier threat, I thing we played not to loose the game in the second half.:thumb:

I tried to tell people the same thing at work and they said I was looking at the game with black and gold tinted glasses. I say why show a team you are likely to face in the playoffs too much.....

Honestly, I dont think it matters there's about 5 or 6 teams within KY that I'm confident could beat Boyle County. With that said, most of those teams are in classes Higher than them. Whats the point in Playing teams in bigger classes if they don't meet them later in seaon for a championship? This isn't the BCS, so although I've been a critic at times(in regards to players accomplishments); I see no reason for BC to play a "tougher" schedule.
