Honestly, I dont think it matters there's about 5 or 6 teams within KY that I'm confident could beat Boyle County. With that said, most of those teams are in classes Higher than them. Whats the point in Playing teams in bigger classes if they don't meet them later in seaon for a championship? This isn't the BCS, so although I've been a critic at times(in regards to players accomplishments); I see no reason for BC to play a "tougher" schedule.

 

I think playing tough higher class teams helps you get ready for those teams you will meet in the final couple of rounds of the state playoffs. Those games will challenge your team and help expose areas you may need to improve to win a championship.

I agree with the comment in a previous post that when a team like Boyle County is really good, it tends to make their competition look a bit down.

 

I think their schedule is fine this year. It seems that LexCath is a little down compared to what they normally are, and I don't think Johnson Central's early struggles this year were anticipated by anyone... heck if that game were played last year it would have been quite a match-up!

 

I also wonder how Boyle County would stack up with teams like Trinity, Saint X and Highlands this year. I have a feeling that Boyle County would perform well against these teams this year.

 

Boyle County will definitely get a major test this year if they have to play Bell County... that should be something!

We all could anticipate that there will be another Boyle County/Bell County matchup. It would definitely be a dandy. Hope all works out for another great matchup. I have great respect for the Bobcats and their fans! With that being said, BOTH teams still have alot to work on before they can even think that they are going to be facing each other.

Who would like to see Highlands - Boyle Matchup?

 

I know for sure all the Boyle fans would welcome this matchup and I don't see Highlands fans not wanting to play us considering our past history.
