Noticed the same thing... great play by Garnick. His dad Mike was one heck of an athlete! I am fortunate to work with Mike and I am sure the apple does not fall far from the tree. :thumb:

Lets be fair. Even with someone that would be considered a great coach the talent level just wasn't enough. The boys played hard and did the best they could. That's all we can ask.

One would think with an all boys school, that you should always be able to have a great football team, especially against smaller public schools with more than half of their student body being girls:idunno:

Just finished watching my tape and man #29 for Cov. Cath. is a player. He doesn't give up.

 

Since you have the tape,Ihave a question for you. Right before halftime Towles (sp?) spikes the ball to kill the clock,from the tape does he spike the ballforward,sideways or backwards? The reason I ask,is that if its sideways or backwards I would think it would be a lateral and a live ball. If it is forward it would be an incompletion. I'm just curious. (Thanks)

I had the same thought as he spiked it. I, too, would like to see that on tape.

Looks as if he steps back, threw the ball down in front of him and then spun around real quick.
