I have no dog in this fight...not a fan of either school...don't even see that many 4A teams (I mostly see 3A, 5A, and 6A schools)...but I find it hard to believe that nobody had any worries about how the game was going to turn out when it went to OT! :lol:

Lone Oak Might as well be number two, cause they will end up in the finals the West is week the rest of the teams will all end up beating each other up and only one will reach the final.

Since those involved come from all parts of the state, I'm sure geographic bias has no bearing on the BGP rankings whatsoever. :thumb:

It's kinda like U of L, even when my Cardinals were winning the "Orange Bowl"...hello, the "powers that be" (haha) didn't want to acknowledge the fact that they were winning and deserved to be ranked much higher than they were, because they hadn't been known as a team that had "been there" through the years. That's my whole point behind the "rankings" process. Get it?

I understand, I would just use the words "hang on late to win" if they had made a critical td-tieing stop late in the 4th. BC got the ball back with about 4 minutes left and could have scored another td but started taking knees with about 2 minutes left in the game. Did LC make it a close game, yes, but "hanging on late to win" doesn't sound like a true indicator of how the game played out, IMO. I don't think anyone who was there or listening had any worries of about how the game was going to turn out.
