I think you guys are too hung up on the past. Football is by far the most what have you done for me lately sport. I don't care if Bellevue had won 500 games to Ludlow's 1. The fact is on Friday whichever team outpays the other will be the winner.

 

If records and matchups were all that mattered SK would've been out in the first round last year, but the last I checked they played in Papa John's Stadium for the state title.

So I will give all of you my two cents. 50% of you will think that it wasn't worth two cents. Thats:cool: When it comes to games like this it's always a battle. But someone is going to win. And someone will lose. I've been trying to figure out who will do what. Here is what I have come up with. Ludlow has a 4-3 record. Two of the teams they beat are 0-7. Braken Co who is 0-7 gave you a good game. (35-24). And you had a rough time it looks like beating Dayton (19-12). And they are 0-7. Beechwood beat you to death. (2-49). Bellevue the last three games has played very good football. Bell beat Bishop Bro. 45-7. And they beat Dayton 56-7.

Both teams played Dayton and Bishop Bro. The total offense and defense looks like this.

Ludlow-----------54 = 26ppg-----------------27 = 13.5ppg

Bellevue---------101 = 50.5ppg---------------14 = 7.0ppg

For the year Bellevue's offense is averaging 37.7ppg while Ludlow is at 21.2 Bellevue's defense is averaging 19.8ppg while Ludlow is at 25.7 I believe Bellevue will win this game by 14+ points. You can throw out past years. But you can't throw out what each team has done vs. common opp. plus the other games.:idunno:

Good stats, however you really didn't post anything that none of us didn't already know. I mean I think we all can agree that Bellevue is the favorite going into this game, I have even admitted that. Ludlow as I said is going to have to play its best game of the year tomorrow.

The bottom line is Ludlow needs to play mistake free football to beat Bellevue. They are capable of winning this game. Hopefully they don't lay another egg like last week and they come out and play smash mouth football.

I think Bellevue will Roll big in this one, but looking forward to seeing their linebacker match up with Bellevues lineman and Buckler, Slater, Sullivan and Livers coming out of the backfield. If the weather is decent I bet even Bellevues quaterback Wills gets in on the action!

Now don't get carried away.

Ludlow has a really good QB. He is really athletic and can make plays. Bellevue's D Line has to get pressure on him and keep contain. Their DB's also have to play well and not allow the big play down field. Bellevue is looking really strong and it is very unlikely that the Bellevue Coaching staff has not developed a game plan for Ludlow's QB. I don't think Ludlow's D can stop Bellevue's O. Bellevue is solid and very sound. Very few penaltys and very few turnovers. As long as their D keeps up what they have been doing in district play, this game will not be close. Bellevue has proven that if it is rainy and muddy, they are not affected. So this should not be much of a game. I predict Bellevue by 30+.

Looks like good weather for hogs sloppin around in the mud, and from what I have seen Bellevue has a bunch of hogs on the line on boths sides of the ball except for that little piglet at nose tackle!
