We all have opinions, so, let's hear what everyone thinks...

This is a good list, but I would put Belfry and Central ahead of Somerset. Somerset has a young team and could still be one year away from the State Title game.

Hopkinsville is not what they usually are, I think that is obvious. Mayfeild still a good ball club, and Graves is decent. The last time I checked the only thing tht matters is the scoreboard. Pull any name out of a hat, but PT is downright bad from inside out. If we are basing this on potentiel, the yeah, keep em in there. If we are basing this on who they have been beat by, then keep them in there. IF we are basing this on who they have beaten, then I don't think they should be up there...but that is just my opinion.

HA! Sure, lets say Hopkinsville is as good as St. X. Graves is on par with Ballard...etc? NO, that is silly. PT is going to implode and Randy Wyatt isn't going to make it. This program is falling apart...there is way too much going on internally with PT. Central will be fine, nobody will challenge them athletically this season in 3A. PT has athletes, but they haven't bought in. Central has the hardware to prove they have bought in. PT is done.

Central has a 1-5 record to all 6a schools. Belfry is starting to roll, and someone has already said that Somerset is still pretty young. Mason Co has a good shot if the Basketball players don't mind missing some games. IMO it will be a rematch between Lou. Central and Belfry in the title game.

Yes the same Western Hills, as far as talent I would put them up against any school in 3A right now, but they are going to have to get it together because now is when it all counts the most.

3A is the weakest class in the state, relative to enrollment. Period.

 

At the end of the year make that statement not now. Also if the western part of the state would play some football in 3a- then and only then would 3A be better.

It's one of the reasons that 3A is the weakest class, relative to enrollment ... and the west side has won the last two state titles.

I know a few people have mentioned it, but Bellevue IMO definitely should be considered. They are one of the best 8 1A teams this year in the state IMO. Coach Eckstein has himself a really good team, has them playing really well right now.
