From my understanding, it was a divorce situation and the mom is a Highlands grad. Could be wrong but that is the way I understood it.

That's a good question. I hear that either his mother or father went to Highlands. I think he came to Dixie along with Goose Cohorn and Corey Garrett from Summit View Middle. I believe they all played on the football and basketball team last year at Dixie. He seemed to be happy there, don't know why he left. Good question.:idunno:

But it seems like I heard one of the parents has a Ft. Thomas connection. Maybe went to Highlands? I think it worked out best for everyone. I think the HHS program has done wonders for Jake and is turning him into a better running back than I ever thought he would be. He looks very different as a runner now than he did 2 years ago so it has been great for him IMO. Plus, if True had come to Beechwood, then maybe Vocke wouldn't have. And I think I would rather have Vocke. Of course, I am sure the Highlands fans would rather have True. :thumb:
