Reds and Rolen

Featured Replies

What is the Red's record with Rolen in the lineup this year? Any idea?

Something like 20-10, I going to bed or I would look it up. I will do it tomorrow if no one else does.

Thank HT.

21-10.

Interesting. That roughly projects out to 104-58. Hopefully he can be healthy next year, because it seems clear that his influence on the team is a positive one. I see him constantly encouraging the younger guys and offering advice.

Who cares their season is over, has been. It's almost as irrelevant as what the Nationals record is after trading Lastings Millege to the Pirates.

By posting this, are you saying you think the Reds would actually play to that record if Rolen plays an entire season??

21-10.

The Reds record is 21-10 since Rolen has returned from the DL. I think he was only here for 7 or so games before he got beaned & went to the DL.

Not sure what their record was in those games.

Does that mean my tickets for next Wednesday and Friday are useless?

Edwin Encarnacion's stats in Toronto:

34 games - hitting .240 with 6 HR (he only had 5 in Cincy) and 18 RBI. He's K'ed 22 times & walked 10. OBP% of .300.

Josh Roenicke, despite his overpowering performance against the Bo Sox that one night, is also struggling in Toronto.

12 games, 16 1/3 innings with 16 hits & 12 walks. He has K'ed 17 & only given up 1 HR. He has a 6.61 ERA & 1.71 whip.

Zach Stewart is in AAA for the Blue Jays.

He has pitched in 11 games with a 3.38 ERA. Through 13 1/3 innings, he's given up 18 hits & 8 runs (only 5 earned). He's walked 6 and struck out 14.

I'm a homer and will always cheer on the Reds. I truly believe Jocketty knows what he's doing. I do believe 2010 will be a good year for the Reds. They have to stay healthy and still IMO need a leadoff hitter. Still think Stubbs is a big ? mark. If Jocketty says he's the man than I trust Walt.

That and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.

I honestly don't know. How many games have they played Pittsburgh during that time?
