September 24, 200916 yr 21-10. Interesting. That roughly projects out to 104-58. Hopefully he can be healthy next year, because it seems clear that his influence on the team is a positive one. I see him constantly encouraging the younger guys and offering advice.
September 24, 200916 yr Who cares their season is over, has been. It's almost as irrelevant as what the Nationals record is after trading Lastings Millege to the Pirates.

September 24, 200916 yr 21-10. The Reds record is 21-10 since Rolen has returned from the DL. I think he was only here for 7 or so games before he got beaned & went to the DL. Not sure what their record was in those games.

September 24, 200916 yr Edwin Encarnacion's stats in Toronto: 34 games - hitting .240 with 6 HR (he only had 5 in Cincy) and 18 RBI. He's K'ed 22 times & walked 10. OBP% of .300. Josh Roenicke, despite his overpowering performance against the Bo Sox that one night, is also struggling in Toronto. 12 games, 16 1/3 innings with 16 hits & 12 walks. He has K'ed 17 & only given up 1 HR. He has a 6.61 ERA & 1.71 whip. Zach Stewart is in AAA for the Blue Jays. He has pitched in 11 games with a 3.38 ERA. Through 13 1/3 innings, he's given up 18 hits & 8 runs (only 5 earned). He's walked 6 and struck out 14.
September 24, 200916 yr I'm a homer and will always cheer on the Reds. I truly believe Jocketty knows what he's doing. I do believe 2010 will be a good year for the Reds. They have to stay healthy and still IMO need a leadoff hitter. Still think Stubbs is a big ? mark. If Jocketty says he's the man than I trust Walt.
